This lil' guy greeted me a couple nights ago as I was harvesting some vegetables from the garden. He is a cicada locust and was about 2 1/2 inches in length.
He was so big that after I said my hello and moved him out of the way, I expected him to say, "Howdie. Been hot here in Ohio, eh? Your cucumbers are looking great."
