Love note

Why do I find it so incredibly sweet when our youngest writes his first "Dear Mom & Dad, You are mean." note?

Ian was sent to his room last night (Isaac, as well) and dropped this note over the banister when he had had enough of the punishment. He was so proud of himself. We overheard him tell Audrey he had just written us a note that said we were mean.

We are so mean that we deserved the underlining of his words. I love it.
