Annaberg

While on St. John, we very briefly visited the historic Annaberg Sugar Mill Ruins, which is a partially restored sugar factory that was operated in the late 1700s through the 1800s with slave labor.

Windmill








I found this picture online (dated after 1933), which shows the ruins in one picture. The area is so plush right now, and the mosquito population WAY TOO HIGH, for us to even attempt to get a shot like this.
