I gave birth to poker playing monkeys

After the park, you of course play poker with the boys, like real men.

Are you dizzy from all of the picnik applications I used? Just another day in boredomville.

Baby Blues

Did I ever mention that grown women will stop this little man to swoon over his blue eyes?

Bad Rap

As much as I outwardly despise northern Ohio in the winter, I will also admit that I have given the area in which we call "home" a bad rap.

This past weekend we celebrated the Labor Day holiday with Matt's entire family coming from Texas, North Carolina and South Carolina.

My pictures from the weekend remind me that we live in a beautiful place with many things for us to thoroughly enjoy ... at least until winter takes a hold on the region.

The Ledges - Peninsula, OH

The Ledges hike is, by far, my family's most favorite hike in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

 Brandywine Falls, Boston Mills, OH

I don't get out much, I will admit, but the Cleveland skyline has never looked better.

Terminal Tower - Cleveland, OH

U.S. Navy - Blue Angels ~ Cleveland Air Show
We watched the air show from the Goodtime III while cruising the lakefront.

Yes, I did

I have had my eye on these cows for the past week. Today, I finally stopped to say hello.

Red Angus

Three Amigos

Do you know if you talk to cows like you do a dog in a high pitched voice, they react JUST like a dog... except there is less tail wagging?

Summertime

Broken

On my way home work today, I decided to take a longer way home to try to snap some pictures.

I was driving into downtown Hudson, OH and was stopped under this bridge.

As I drove away, on the opposite side of the street, was a woman about my age... a little younger, maybe... holding a large cardboard sign... in downtown Hudson... that said, "Single mother desperate for work."

Pink

I do not think you understand how thrilled I am about having blooms on my hydrangea plant. Finally, after seven years, we have flowers. Funny, because after thirty-eight years, I am still waiting to bloom.

... and the thunder rolls...

These are shots of the sky at Isaac's soccer game last night as the storm was rolling in.
